DESCRIPTION:A Library for Lesenepole: An evening of music\, art\, and giving to build a school library in Botswana\nJoin us for a special event on Tuesday\, July 28 from 7-9 at RFA Lakeside Theater\nReturned Peace Corps Volunteer Sue Downes and Friends are raising funds to bring resources to the Lesenepole Primary School library.One hour concert featuring 10 local musicians will be followed by a one hour photo journey and Q&A about Sue's 9 months in Botswana. A silent auction will feature works by African artists alongside Rangeley artists including Sonja Johnson\, Marcia Baker\, Pam Nobbs\, and Carol SullivanThe library needs 35 chairs\, 8 tables\, 1 projector\, 2 computers\, and 1 cordless microphone in addition to books. Sue plans to return to Botswana in October through November to purchase and install the resources\, and work with the community to make sure the school has a plan for keeping the library running sustainably.
