Let's hit RLHT's trails this winter!
Experience the quiet beauty of a winter evening with a snowshoe walk illuminated by paper lanterns. Meet at the Mingo Loop Road trail entrance and walk into a Solo Stove fire, where you can warm up with hot cocoa and s’mores. The lantern-lit evening walk offers a truly ✨magical✨ winter experience. Lanterns will line the trail, illuminating the forest as you snowshoe through the conservation area. This evening walk is “open woods” style—participants may join RLHT staff and volunteers at 6 p.m. to walk in together, or arrive at their leisure any time up to 7:30 p.m. and snowshoe in on their own. Along the way, RLHT staff and volunteers will be available to share insights about the landscape, wildlife, and conservation efforts at Mingo Springs.
