The Maine Forestry Museum opens its doors for the 2025 season!
Come view our new Maine Antique Snowshoe exhibit, featuring an extensive collection of Native American and Maine-made snowshoes. Additionally, check out our new lower-level mural, created by two local artists over the winter.
The Maine Forestry Museum collection consists of hundreds of artifacts, tools, equipment, and heavy machinery from regional logging operations. View 19 original oil paintings by Alden Grant depicting logging camp life in the early 1900s. Plus, experience miles of hiking trails on our grounds.
Our summer hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Entrance fees: $7 per adult (free for members, active-duty military & veterans), teens 13-17 $5, children 12 and under free.
