Rangeley Health and Wellness Duck Race 2026

Join the fun at the Rangeley Health and Wellness Duck Race on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10:45 AM, immediately following Rangeley’s Annual July 3rd Parade. The race takes place on Main Street in Rangeley, near the Pine Tree Frosty, where 3,500 numbered ducks will be dropped at the inlet to Rangeley Lake and race downstream. The first 60 ducks to cross the finish line will win a prize, and one lucky duck could win $10,000! Join the race by adopting a duck or a flock as a donation to benefit Rangeley Health and Wellness. Ducks may be adopted at the fitness center, at pop-up sales stations throughout town, or by mail. Mail-in adoptions must be received by June 30, and in-person adoptions are available until the ducks drop or sell out. Winners do not need to be present to win. All proceeds support Rangeley Health and Wellness, a nonprofit organization serving the Rangeley Lakes Region through fitness, wellness, youth, and senior programs that support the health of the greater Rangeley community. Winners will be posted on Rangeley Health and Wellness’ social media pages and at the Rangeley Chamber of Commerce. Prizes may be picked up at the Rangeley Health and Wellness Fitness Desk, located at 25 Dallas Hill Road, by July 10, or by calling 207-864-4397 to make other arrangements.
