Volunteer Trail Work Day - Tumbledown

Friday, June 12, 2026 (9:00 AM - 2:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Join High Peaks Alliance this summer for a series of Volunteer Trail Work Days across the High Peaks Region! Whether you’re a seasoned trail worker or just looking for a meaningful way to give back, these days are a great opportunity to spend time outdoors, connect with your community, and help care for the trails we all love.

Led by Recreation Ranger Matt Kusper, volunteers will assist with projects like trail maintenance, reroutes, and general upkeep to improve sustainability and access. Come for one day or join us for several—every bit of help makes a difference.

Work days typically run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Specific meeting details will be shared ahead of each event. Come for an hour or all day - we need your help!

What to bring:

- Long pants

- Sturdy, closed-toe footwear

- Weather-appropriate clothing

- Work gloves and eye protection (if you have them)

- Plenty of water and snacks/lunch

- Bug spray and sunscreen

No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to pitch in and enjoy a day outside!
