Walk in the Woods Summer Series 2024 – Hunter Cove Uplands

Tuesday, July 2, 2024 (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

A multi-use trail offers easy hiking from the parking lot with a nice, flat surface with only one or two hills. Attached to the multi-use trail are two loops. The smaller lower loop uses old logging roads and hand-cut trails, resulting in a moderately strenuous hike. The upper loop is an exclusively hand-cut trail with relatively difficult hiking. This longer loop truly immerses the hiker in the woods, nature, and wildlife that Hunter Cove Uplands provides. Off the upper loop and the multi-use trail is a short trail that leads to an overlook of Rangeley Lake, offering a place to eat lunch and rest while enjoying a fantastic view.

  • Meet in the parking lot.
  • Please bring water and leave your four-legged friends at home.
