BMC Ice Golf Classic

Description

A fun-filled ice golf tournament played on the frozen Mooselookmeguntic Lake, featuring uniquely themed holes, local food & drinks, and a festival-style atmosphere! Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a first-time player, this event is all about fun, community, and winter adventure! 

📝 Event Structure & Rules 

1️⃣ Tournament Format Scramble Format – Teams of 4 players work together, selecting the best shot from each stroke. Shotgun Start – All teams start at the same time from different holes. 18-Hole Course on the Ice – A creatively designed course with fun, challenging obstacles. Custom Themes – Each hole is business-sponsored and may have unique winter or Maine-themed challenges. 

2️⃣ Equipment & Rules Clubs Only – Players may bring one or two golf clubs (putter, wedge, or iron recommended). But anything will do.... Hockey stick, broom, wiffleball bat Tennis Balls Instead of Golf Balls – This makes play easier on ice and snow. Winter Attire Required – Warm clothing, boots, and optional costumes are encouraged. No Tees – Just the Ice! 

3️⃣ Scoring & Prizes Lowest Team Score Wins 🏆$400 Cash Tiebreakers are decided by a closest-to-the-pin shootout.

🍽️ Food, Drinks & Fun BMC Restaurant & Bar – Serving hot drinks, food, and winter cocktails. Bonfires & Heated Tents – Warm-up stations set up along the course. Live Music & Entertainment – Featuring local artists & DJs. 

🎟️ Registration & Fees Team Entry Fee: $100 (Includes 18-hole play, one Drink Chip) Spectator Passes Available – Come enjoy the festivities even if you’re not playing! Limited Spots Available! – Pre-registration is required.
