SUBMIT YOUR FAVORITE PHOTOS OF THE RANGELEY AREA Send Us Your Best Photo, and It May Be Included in the 2027 Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce Calendar!  Deadline for Submission - May 15, 2026 

 Photo Submission Guidelines & Rules Photos 

● All photos submitted should be recent photos, and the subject of the photos should focus on scenic, recreation, wildlife, and our villages – i.e., any photo that is representative of the best our area has to offer. We are looking for photos that capture each of the four seasons in the Rangeley area. 

● By submitting a photograph, you certify that you are the original photographer. If you submit a photograph taken by someone else, you must provide written permission from the original photographer for the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce ("Chamber") to use the photograph in the calendar and/or in other promotional materials, both print and digital, as the Chamber deems appropriate and with no compensation for the use thereof. 

● If any person appears in the photograph, you are responsible for obtaining, before submission of the photograph, all releases and consents necessary to permit the use of the photograph in the manner set forth herein. 

● Photographs submitted may not include watermarks, signatures, or copyright notices. 

● All photographs chosen for the calendar will include citation of the photographer's name in the calendar. Photo Submission 

● Submit digital images (minimum 300 dpi at 8.25” x 11” printed size) to info@rangeleymaine.com no later than Friday, May 15, 2026. (Please note "2027 Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce Calendar Photo Submission" in the subject.) 

● Rename/Label each photo with your name, location, and year taken. 

● By submitting a photograph, photographers agree that submitted photographs may be used in the 2027 Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce Calendar and/or on the Chamber's website or in other promotional materials, both print and digital, as the Chamber deems appropriate and with no compensation for the use thereof. Submitted photographs will not be sold in any manner other than inclusion in the Chamber's 2027 calendar. 

● For each photograph submitted, please include the following information: (1) Name, (2) Mailing Address, (3) Email Address, (4) Phone Number, and (5) Date and Location of Photograph. 

● The Chamber assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to photo submissions. Photo Selection 

● Submitted photos will be judged based on photographic quality and effectiveness in conveying the beauty and unique character of the Rangeley Lakes Region throughout the four seasons. 

● All selections will be made by Chamber staff, along with marketing and graphic artist professionals, and all decisions are final. 

● Each photographer who submits a photograph selected for inclusion in the calendar will be notified by email. 

● Each photographer who submits a photograph selected for inclusion in the calendar will be entitled to one free copy of the calendar.
