DANCE ACADEMY PERFORMANCE FEATURES 45 DANCERS
The Lakeside Dance Academy will present the Annual Spring Dance Concert at 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, April 3 & 4, 2026, at the RFA Lakeside Theater on Main St. in Rangeley. It will be an evening showcasing the work of 45 dancers of all ages and is sponsored by the Rangeley Friends of the Arts. Senior dancer Ollie Sherrer will be featured in her Senior Solo with guest partner Nathan Waugh.
Dancers ranging in ability from beginner to advanced will perform in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and en Pointe. In the Advanced level, the dancers include: Raina Eustis, Mya Gellman, Abby Grant, Joslyn Kennett, Addie Knieser, Mia Lynch, Stella MacFawn, Sarah Kate Murphy, Ollie Sherrer, Audrey Sutherland, Nathan Waugh, Morghan Webber and Harper Wright. The Intermediate level includes Olive Clinch, Sarita Chavaree, Bella Dutile, Delaney Gage, Clara Gurney, Claire Hayden, Sasha Hines, Lilliana Hjelmstad, Abby Kay, Seamus Loud, Lydia O’Neil, Ellie Phadungchai, Anah Sutherland, and Charlotte Wright. The Beginner level includes Elizabeth Cameron, Emma Cameron, Mia Dutile, Dylynn Gage, Scarlet Garner, Celia Grierson, Eva Gurney, Tenley Philbrick and Loretta Watkin. The pre-school Creative Movement class includes the youngest dancers: Violet Clinch, Etta Dean, Charlotte Huntley, McKenna Latham, Bode Loud, Charlotte Richards, Olive Ryder, Miah Sweeney and Willow Wilkinson.
The Lakeside Dance Academy has been providing dance instruction in the Rangeley Region since 1986 under the Artistic Direction of Pam Ellis. Lily Webber, a graduate of the Academy, is the instructor of the Creative Movement class. The Rangeley Friends of the Arts has provided support through the years via their Scholarship and Student Lessons Program. There will be a reception to celebrate the dancers in the theater lobby after the concert each night. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students 12 and under. Reserve seating tickets will be available beginning March 21 via email to pjellisart@gmail.com. There will be very limited seats available at the door.
