While a bank is owned by stockholders who are in the business to earn a healthy return on their investments, our credit union is a not-for-profit, cooperative financial institution owned by its members.

As a credit union founded to help under-served individuals, we continue to believe that access to financial services for the under-served is an integral part of our mission. With membership open to persons who live, work, or attend school in Androscoggin, Franklin, Kennebec, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, Somerset, and Waldo Counties, as well as businesses and other legal entities located in these counties, we are committed to the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.”
