ART IN THE BARN - An Oquossoc Day  Weekend Pop-Up Gallery 

Art in the Barn - a Pop-Up Gallery Event will be held at Indian Point, 8 Carry Road, Oquossoc, during Oquossoc Day weekend: August 16 & 17. The Gallery will be open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, featuring new works by artists Sonja Johnson, Heidi Sorensen, Pam Ellis, and David Wegman. 

There will be an artist's reception with refreshments at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 16. The new works on display will include Sorensen’s collages based on her travels to the Caribbean, Ellis’ latest series of elemental transformations in watercolor, Johnson’s high contrast, colorful paintings of the Rangeley area, and Wegman’s portholes with exotic island prints.

Indian Point is a unique location on Rangeley Lake, situated on a private peninsula with stunning views, magnificent pines, and flower gardens. The artists will be on site, painting and exhibiting their works throughout the two-day exhibit.
