Open Auditions for Newsies Saturday March 2nd 2:00 – 4:00 PM

 RFA Lakeside Theater The Rangeley Friends of the Arts will produce a live theater event of "Newsies" the musical this summer. 

PRODUCTION DATES: July 25, 26, 28, 29 

Auditions will be held at the RFA Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St in Rangeley on March 2nd from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Auditions are open to everyone regardless of past stage experience and we’d love to have some new talent participate! Those wishing to audition, please fill out and submit the audition form link HERE. SYNOPSIS: Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, this Disney musical tells the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who dreams of a life as an artist away from the big city. After publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer raises newspaper prices at the newsboys' expense, Kelly and his fellow newsies take action.
