Feel the rhythm, feel the ride, give it up, it’s slalom time! Saddleback’s premier snowboarding and snow skating competition is back on Saturday, March 14, 2026 – the Back to the Banks Banked Slalom. Last year the Maine snowboarding community showed up in force and we had a wicked fun day. Join us for this timed snowboard & snow skates-only race on Grey Ghost consisting of berms and turns that will challenge riders. Two runs and your best time counts. This event is open to all ages. Prizes for the top three riders in each age group! Join us the night before for Bib Pickup at The Pub. Race Schedule 8-9 a.m. – Rider check-in and bib pick-up 9:30 a.m. – Riders’ meeting at the top of the course and course inspection slip lap 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – DJ: Eric from AudiblEvents 10 a.m. – First rider drops, youngest to oldest, ladies first 12: 30 p.m. – Second runs start, youngest to oldest, ladies first 3 p.m. – Awards at the base area, approx 30 mins after last rider finishes Help us paint the mountain pink by raising funds for Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC)! $10 from every rider registration will go directly to B4BC. There will be a silent auction, raffle, and special edition pink logo stickers to purchase in support. B4BC’s “Love Your Peaks” event travels to ski mountains nationwide to spread awareness of early detection + a healthy, active lifestyle as the best means of breast cancer prevention.
