About Us:

We are a multi-entity company serving the entire Rangeley Region, known for providing

dependable and professional services in the construction, logging, and mining sectors. As

we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Manager

to join our team and oversee key internal operations.


Position Summary:

The Business Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all internal financial

processes across five affiliated entities. This includes accounts payable and receivable,

internal payroll processes, quarterly filings, monthly reporting, and financial forecasting.

The role also involves coordinating with customers and vendors, assisting in project

estimates and scheduling, and tracking business development opportunities in the local

area.


Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight

Manage accounts payable and receivable across four business entities

Oversee internal payroll processing

File Quarterly Reports, Both Federal & State

Prepare monthly business reports, financial summaries, and company projections


• Project & Business Development

Monitor and research local and state-funded projects and commercial opportunities

Engage directly with customers regarding upcoming project needs

Assist with scope-of-work reviews and quote preparation


• Operations & Scheduling

Coordinate weekly scheduling of company crews and equipment

Assist in short- and long-term planning for manpower and resource allocation


• Customer & Vendor Relations

Serve as the main point of contact for all customer inquiries and communications

Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely procurement and cost efficiency


Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles

• Proven experience in customer service and business relationship management

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative

• Familiarity with the Rangeley Region is strongly preferred

• Prior experience working in a multi-entity or small business environment is a plus


Compensation:

This is a full-time, salaried position with year-round employment. Compensation will be

based on experience and qualifications.
