Position Overview We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Cafe Manager to lead our daily operations and create an exceptional experience for every guest. This is a seasonal leadership role perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves building community through great coffee and hospitality. Schedule Thursday-Saturday: Full days, 7am-3pm Sunday: Half day, 8am-12pm Total: 30-35 hours per week Key Responsibilities Oversee daily cafe operations with meticulous attention to quality and craftsmanship Manage and mentor a small seasonal staff of 2-3 staff members Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout the space Create welcoming experiences for coworking members and cafe guests Handle inventory management and ordering systems Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Support special events and community programming What We're Looking For Essential Qualities: Alignment with our core values of warmth, light, and kinship Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail Strong systems-oriented mindset Cheerful, positive attitude with genuine enthusiasm for customer service Natural leadership abilities and team management experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Experience: Previous coffee shop or barista experience Team leadership or cooperative work experience Experience working in coworking or community-focused environments What We Offer Competitive starting wage of $24/hour Paid time off (PTO) Performance-based bonuses Opportunity to be part of Rangeley's growing community hub Beautiful work environment in Maine's stunning lake region Potential for growth within our expanding business Ready to Join Our Team?
