Rangeley Health and Wellness (RHW) is looking for motivated, energetic individuals to join our Children in Action (CIA) After-School Program team!

This is a great part-time opportunity for someone looking for work that can fit into an existing schedule. Whether you’re available two days a week or five, we’d love to hear from you. Our flexible scheduling makes this a great option for someone looking to add a few rewarding workdays to their week.

What You’ll Do

As a CIA After-School Counselor, you’ll help create a fun, active, safe, and supportive environment for children participating in RHW’s after-school program. Responsibilities may include:

• Supervising and engaging with children during program hours
• Helping lead games, activities, crafts, and other planned programming
• Encouraging positive behavior, participation, and teamwork
• Assisting with program setup, cleanup, and daily routines
• Working collaboratively with other counselors and program staff
• Helping ensure children have a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Dependable and responsible
• Energetic and enthusiastic
• Patient and supportive
• Comfortable working with children
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Willing to be active and engaged throughout the program

Previous experience working with children is a plus, but we encourage anyone who enjoys working with kids and is interested in the position to apply.

Schedule

Part-time | Flexible scheduling | 2–5 days per week

Current program hours include Mondays from 2:00–5:00 PM and Tuesdays from 1:00–5:00 PM. Scheduling can be flexible based on availability, so even if you’re only available a few afternoons each week, we’d still love to hear from you!
